Keevin Lee and New Spur

Earl comes from a family of musicians who all played instruments. His father, Earl Knapp Sr. Was a long time Guitar and Steel Guitar player in Kansas City and Earls greatest influence growing up. His brother Mike is an accomplished pianist and drummer and runs a recording studio in Kansas. His mother played guitar ,harmonica and accordion and keyboards. He has played with such bands as Country Style , Jim Deckard and Country Plus ,The Joy Williams Band, Johnny and the Dreamers , Clayton Howardton and Kickin Country, Bradley Rigby and New Cut Road ,Bill Hudgens and the County Liners , Steve Epely and Roadhouse , Rukus , Woody and the Back Roads Band and His own Band , Twisted Spur. He has opened for Faron Young , Gene Watson, Michael Twitty , Kenny Brent, Billy Joe Royal , Narvel Felts , Tommy Cash and Rex Allen Jr. His unique style of playing makes him a favorite in this area.
